As you probably know by now... My name is Jennifer Elizabeth Moore and I am a Witch.
I have always been drawn to magic. As a child my mother would tell me about flower fairies and mother nature, and my grandmother would tell me about mermaids. I spent many hours in the garden talking to the fairies that I couldn't see, but I hoped were there, and wandering around the bay, where my grandmother lived, searching for a glimpse of the elusive mermaids. For me practicing a religion which honors our Earth as Sacred, worships a female deity and is open to non ordinary realities was a natural progression from my childhood.
The first time I was recognized as a witch was when I was in the 4th grade. This kid in my class hired me to perform a love spell for him by buying me a little booklet at Woolworths called 'Witchcraft and How To Do It'. The biggest challenge for me was that I had a crush on him and so I knew doing anything for him would be a conflict of interest. So I told him that he needed to do his own spell because people doing their own spell works much better. I actually have maintained this philosophy to this day.
Since the 4th grade I have learned a lot about the the practice of magic and witchcraft as a religion yet my belief that it is possible to change the world by changing ourselves with the power of magic remains constant.
