As we complete this examination of human development. I offer the observation of the ever widening dance between dependence and interconnection; and independence and personal autonomy. If we consider the six stages of Kegan and the seven stages of Fowler we might notice this journey back and forth. I offer this diagram as illustration of this reflection.
